The moss agate in this pendant looks like a fall scene from New England, from where this artist happens to hail. But it also looks like the 3-D popping embers of a blazing fire, and the oxidized copper compliments its natural tones so beautifully. Several techniques went into making this pendant, including soldering, hammering, twisting and wrapping. Fuego measures 3” x 1.65.” The leather cord is 18" in length with an additional solid 2" copper extension so you have options as to how it sits. Additional adjustments to the length can be made upon request. The copper has been coated with an anti-tarnish sealant to temporarily preserve the color and protect your skin. Copper will deepen in color over time, which can be a beautiful effect. However a polishing pad will be included with your order so you'll be able to re-polish your copper in the future bringing out the piece's highlights if you choose.
