These extremely unique freshwater pearls are cultured by inserting a base into the mussel and then letting nature take its course! The choker measures 15.25" and is held together by a 23x12mm solid sterling box clasp. The necklace is strung on silk thread, but apart from the first couple of pearls they can't be individually knotted because it would put too much space between them ruining the desired look.
