How it all started.

The Epic(ish) Story….

…began about seven years ago, at the beginning of what would become a nine-month stretch of full bedrest. Jen Kish, the mind behind Imaginarium Jewelry, needed major back surgery. She had previously dabbled in jewelry making, but, now a prisoner to horizonitalism, she had nothing but precious time. A deep dive into the world of wire wrapping and weaving commenced. Over the years she also studied silversmithing and forging, and she incorporates these techniques to create sculptural chimeras that are unique to her.

As a sidenote, she also watched the movie, “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” during that time of ‘rest.’ She loved the concept of a man with a traveling wagon show that admitted entry into the wonderment of his mind. So, the ideas for both the company name and foundation were born.

In 2017 She opened her Etsy shop, and shortly thereafter became a regular vendor at an artist’s market in Jacksonville, Florida, called The Riverside Arts Market. A few years later, she began doing art shows throughout the state of Florida and occasionally in Georgia. Today, her jewelry can also be found in Gallery 500 and Galerie Elan, both in Daytona Beach, FL. She’s been blessed to receive many awards for the quality, artistry, and presentation of her jewelry, including Best in Show.
