I’m Teaching A Class.
People have asked me at every art show if I’d ever consider teaching, and my answer was always a vague grunt with a shrug combined with a so-so hand gesture. It was a future goal, but when it would be achieved, that was a mystery. WELL. The time has arrived. Really it’s nearly past time, I should be flogged for putting this blog entry up so late, because the first class is this Saturday, August 12th. It’s the first of three classes, all on Saturday afternoons from 3-5:30 at Galerie Elan in Daytona Beach, FL. I’ll teach you everything you need to know to get started as a wire wrapper, and if you’re already wrapping I’ll teach you some essential tricks that’ll make your life much easier. And the main course, we’ll be making this stunning little pendant (left) in either copper or silver filled wire (you don’t learn on solid silver, you just don’t).
If you have any questions about the class, use the “Contact” page to get in touch with me, and I’ll get back to you right away. This is really going to be fun, and amusing too, so come join in!
